I am a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow in the Department of Earth Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara, with an emphasis in Tectonics and Geochronology. My research spans understanding and pushing the limitations of LA-based mass spectrometry methods, including through nanoparticle research and high-spatial-resolution imaging of major and accessory minerals vital for geochemical and geochronological investigations. I am also passionate about understanding the conditions and timing of deformation and tectonic processes through field and microstructural analysis and precise geochronology.
